Jentree

Coaching – Shuttles – Events – Riding

Jentree is a 100-acre property in Marlborough located 15 minutes from Blenheim on the Taylor Pass. It was originally planted in forestry and had an extensive network of mountain bike tracks. In its heyday, Jentree was a mecca for riders in the area and a venue for multiple national and regional races. Jentree was a hive of activity for locals and visitors riding and building tracks. This fostered a strong sense of community, support, and engagement. This environment was pivotal in shaping Justin’s passion for riding and his future achievements, winning Junior and Pro Elite National titles at the property. He then progressed on to an international career as a professional mountain biker spanning 16 years.

With Justin’s planned retirement from the racing circuit in 2017, it was serendipitous to have been offered the opportunity to purchase Jentree. Since taking ownership of the property a year ago we have replanted the trees, which had been milled and have started to rebuild existing tracks and develop new ones.

The future vision of Jentree

Our vision is to reinstate Jentree as a world-class riding destination once again – a place for riders to have fun, develop their skills and connect with a supportive community of like-minded people.

Come and ride

We are already seeing a supportive grassroots network of riders coming together to share in their passion for riding.

Jentree is our family home, however, we are happy for riders to come up and ride anytime, just give us a call prior on 03 5777-635 to arrange.

Coaching sessions are up and running, make sure you check out what we have on offer. We are looking forward to several regional events in the coming spring/summer, dates will be up soon.

All riders must comply with Health and Safety policies on the property.

Jentree wouldn’t be possible without the support of some awesome people and organisations.
